Fuzhou Travel Guide
The capital of Fujian Province, an old city with an illustrious past
Fuzhou Travel Guide
Fuzhou is a city related to time. History has left a strong mark here. The banyan tree, which has gone through hundreds of years of changes, stretches out its rugged branches, blocking out the sun and towering into the clouds. The hanging branches are mottled with light and shadow. People enjoy the coolness and chat under the tree. The banyan tree witnesses the historical development of Fuzhou. Stepping onto the stone roads of the three lanes and seven alleys, the beautifully carved window lattice and the solemn and simple saddle wall, you can see the imprint left by time here. Climb the Luoxing Pagoda and look at the gurgling Min River and the sand gulls crossing the sky, telling the touching legend of the "Chinese Pagoda"; climb the Gushan Mountain and look for the Yongquan Temple deep in the forest. Thousands of years have laid its foundation here. The scenery has never changed; walking in the narrow streets of Fuzhou, the light and shadow cast by the banyan trees are cast on the mottled gray walls and bricks, intersecting, conflicting and finally merging with the wires crossing the sky; the ancestors of the Fujian ethnic group once fished and hunted here Farming has now created this vibrant historical city.
