The Li River is located in the eastern part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in South China and belongs to the Pearl River system. The Li River originates from Lijiang Jianwen Maoer Mountain in Yuechengling, northern Guangxi, which is a place with lush forests, fresh air and excellent ecological environment. The main stream of the upper reaches of the Li River is called Liudong River; it flows south to the vicinity of Simenqian in Xing'an County, and receives Huangbai River in the east and Sichuan River in the west, and the confluence is called Rongjiang River; it collects Lingqu water from Rongjiang Town, flows through Lingchuan, Guilin, Yangshuo, and Pingle, and merges into Xijiang River, with a total length of 437 kilometers. The water journey from Guilin to Yangshuo, about 83 kilometers, is called Lijiang River.
