Daluoshui is the earliest developed village on the Lugu Lake. The shuttle bus to and from Lijiang stops here.

Lugu Lake was called Luku Haizi in ancient times, also known as Zuosuohai, commonly known as Lianghai, and also named Ledehai and Luku Lake in ancient times. It is located between Yanyuan County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province and Ninglang Yi Autonomous County, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. The lake is about 2690.75 meters above sea level and covers an area of ​​about 48.45 square kilometers. The residents around the lake are mainly Mosuo people, who still retain the matriarchal marriage system.
