Tanggula Mountain is a famous mountain in Tibet, also known as Tangla Mountain or Tangla Ridge. In Tibetan, it means "mountain on the plateau". It is also a famous mountain god in Tibet. It is located in the heart of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, connected to the Karakoram Mountains in the west and the Hengduan Mountains in the east. It is about 1,000 kilometers long and 150 kilometers wide. It is generally 5,500 to 6,000 meters above sea level. There are many wide basins between the mountains, which are good pastures. It is divided into two sections, east and west, with the Wenquan Yakou that Yanshiping just passed to the south: the west section belongs to the high-cold desert landscape; the east section belongs to the high-cold shrub meadow landscape. Between the railway and the highway at the Tanggula Pass, there is the Baskanggen Peak with an altitude of 6,022 meters. At the Tanggula Pass, the view is much wider than that at the Kunlun Pass. There are crystal clear snow-capped mountains in the distance, and the sun is more intense than the other side of the mountain. The real plateau has arrived! Due to lack of oxygen, the brain will be slightly anesthetized and excited.
