To the east of the scenic Coqona Lake, the Qinghai-Tibet Railway passes by the quiet and beautiful Shenhu Lake, only 20 meters away. There is also a viewing platform here. The Nujiang River, Liantong River and Nagqu River, which originate here, nurture the people along the coast. Against the backdrop of blue sky, white clouds and endless grasslands, the clear and green Coqona Lake in summer is particularly beautiful. The green hills are in the water, the water is clear, the fish are jumping, and the wild ducks and migratory birds are playing freely. The lake is rich in aquatic products, attracting national key wild protected animals such as black-necked cranes, swans, wild ducks, and mandarin ducks. The green grasslands by the lake are the homes of Tibetan antelopes and Tibetan gazelles. The rivers and streams in the southern part of the Tanggula Mountains all flow into Coqona Lake and then into the Nujiang River. Cona Lake is located in Anduo County, Tibet, and belongs to the plateau subarctic semi-humid monsoon climate zone. The air is thin, the temperature difference between day and night is large, and the four seasons are not distinct. The annual average temperature in the county is -2.8℃, the average temperature in the colder January is -14.6℃, and the average temperature in the hotter July is 7.8℃, which is suitable for summer tourism. History and Culture Cona Lake is a "holy lake" in the minds of local Tibetan people. Every year in the Tibetan calendar Dragon Year, thousands of believers come to worship. It is one of the famous attractions in Anduo and along the Qinghai-Tibet Railway.
