It is crossed by the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. The most famous scenic spot Sejila is the rhododendrons that cover the mountain. The rhododendrons in Sejila Mountain cover a large area and have many varieties. They are magnificent during the blooming period and the scenery is extremely spectacular. There are about 850 species of rhododendrons in the world, about 460 species in my country, of which 170 species are in Tibet, accounting for one-fifth of the world's rhododendron varieties. In the Sejila Mountain area of Nyingchi County, rhododendrons are densely distributed within an altitude range of 2,900 to 5,300 meters. Calculated by straight-line distance, the area is more than 1,000 square kilometers, and there are as many as 25 varieties. Benri La Mountain, next to Daze Village on the west slope of Sejila Mountain, is a holy place of Tibetan Bon religion and one of the four sacred mountains in Tibet. People who come here to worship the mountain are endless all year round, and believers come from all directions. On the tenth day of the eighth month of the Tibetan calendar every year, a grand mountain circumambulation activity is held, called "Niangbulasu" (meaning to pray to gods and seek treasures).
