Mount Namjagbarwa (also known as Muzhuobar Mountain) is a high mountain in Linzhi, Tibet, China, with an altitude of 7,782 meters. It is a holy place for the ancient Tibetan Buddhist "Bon religion". At the same time, the adjacent Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon turns a horseshoe-shaped bend around it and then leads to the Indian Ocean. The huge triangular peak of Mount Namjagbarwa is covered with snow all year round and shrouded in clouds and mist. It never reveals its true face easily, so it is also called the "Shy Girl Peak". There are many interpretations of Mount Namjagbarwa in Tibetan, one is "thunder and lightning burning like fire", one is "a spear piercing the sky", and another is "a stone falling from the Tianshan Mountains". The latter name comes from the "Battle of Menling" in "The Legend of King Gesar", in which Mount Namjagbarwa is described as a "spear piercing the sky".
