The meaning is that passing Ci'en Bridge can eliminate disasters, crossing Pudu Bridge will bring blessings, and crossing Dajue Bridge, all living beings should be taken care of. Physically and mentally, step into the refreshing Buddhist land - Xiangfu Zen Temple. Xiangfu Zen Temple was first built in the Tang Dynasty. It is said that it was first built when Master Xuanzang granted Zen to Xiaoling Mountain. It has a history of more than a thousand years through the Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing and even modern times. In the Xingtan Square behind Xiangfu Zen Temple, the ancient ginkgo tree was planted by the monks of Xiaoling Mountain Temple. On the left side of Xingtan Square, there is a century-old camphor camphor with three branches at the top, which resembles three incense, and is called "Three Sticks of Incense"; on the right side is the "Buddha's Hand Camphor", with five branches at the top, shaped like a Buddha's hand. The Bajiaojing is a thousand-year-old ancient well with an Octagonal Dragon Pavilion built on it; there are also magical tailless snails growing in the White Lotus Pond. From the Xingtan Square, climb the 218-level Dengyun Road, see the hexagonal ancient well, view the seven-level reliefs, and visit the Lingshan Buddhist Culture Expo Center at the base of the Giant Buddha. Lingshan Giant Buddha is located in the temperate zone, with four distinct seasons, mild climate and abundant rainfall. It has a north subtropical monsoon climate, with an annual average temperature of 15.7°C and an average January temperature of 2. 5℃. The average temperature in July is 28℃. It is suitable for traveling in all seasons. History and Culture The history of Lingshan can be traced back to the Tang Dynasty more than 1,000 years ago. It is said that Xuanzang returned from studying in the West and traveled to the southeast. When he came to the current Xiaoling Mountain, he saw the "layers of green mountains" and the extraordinary scenery. He greatly admired it and said, " It is no different than the victorious vulture of Xizhu Kingdom!” So the mountain was named Xiaoling Mountain. The Vulture Mountain in India is the place where Sakyamuni attained enlightenment and became a Buddha. It is a famous Buddhist holy place, and he asked his disciple Qiu Ji to conduct the Dharma here. Xiaolingshan Temple gradually developed from this. The Lingshan Giant Buddha, which stands at the southern foot of Xiaoling Mountain, is 88 meters tall including the lotus seat, which is equivalent to the height of a thirty-story building. It is taller than Leshan, Sichuan, where "a mountain is a Buddha and a Buddha is a mountain". The Giant Buddha is seventeen meters taller and is the tallest giant Buddha statue in China so far. If the three-story base is added, the total height reaches 10.5 meters. The Lingshan Buddha looks down with wise and kind eyes. No matter whether tourists approach or go far away, they seem to be concerned by the eyes of the Buddha; and as people approach or move away, their eyes seem to open and close slightly. The closer they get, the wider their eyes open; the corners of their mouths seem to be smiling but not smiling. Smile, but no words are spoken, and many instructions are about to be spoken, which makes people feel more cordial and triggers all kinds of reveries. When you get close to the Buddha and look up, you will see white clouds lingering in the blue sky, giving you the feeling that the Buddha is "moving". All parts of the body of the Lingshan Giant Buddha are well-proportioned and moderate, and the pleats on the clothes are bright, smooth, elegant and agile, which adds to the sense of movement, making it very suitable for viewing from a distance or up close. The creation of the Lingshan Giant Buddha was completed based on the records of the thirty-two forms of the Tathagata in the Buddhist scriptures. The Buddha is smiling kindly, looking broadly at all living beings. The "Fearless Seal" on his right hand represents the removal of pain, and the "Wish Seal" on the left hand represents giving happiness, both of which are signs of blessing. The entire Buddha statue is solemn and complete, serene, solemn and meticulous, showing the compassion of the Buddha. .
