Xikou Xuedou Mountain Scenic Area is located on the eastern edge of Siming Mountain, 13 kilometers northwest of Fenghua City in eastern Zhejiang, and 37 kilometers away from Ningbo City. It consists of three scenic spots: Xikou Town, Xuedou Mountain and Tingxia Lake, covering an area of 32.6 square kilometers. In August 1985, it was announced as one of the 18 provincial key scenic spots. In the Han Dynasty, it was known as "Penglai on the Sea". It is a shining emerald embedded in the port city of Ningbo.
